Supporting Symphonic Music
The volunteers who have sustained the orchestra since its very first season.
Founded in 1972, shortly after the orchestra’s first concert, the Monroe Symphony League is the volunteer and fundraising heart of the MSO.
For more than fifty years, the League has stood beside the orchestra — raising funds, welcoming audiences, and building the community around live symphonic music. The MSL runs the orchestra’s annual book sale and presents the Marjorie Stricklin Emerging Artist Competition, giving young Louisiana musicians a stage and a start.
As a thank-you to its members, the League offers an exclusive legacy subscription rate for Season 55 — a full season seat for $100, against a $175 face value. This rate is reserved for Monroe Symphony League members.
Not yet a member? MSL membership is a prerequisite for this rate — join the League first to subscribe at the legacy price.
